I enjoyed my system dynamics class (controls). Currently I am in the mechatronics class which is a rather intense class. We basically make autonomous robots that interact with all the other robots, pretty fun. Also, my senior project is to make a prototype "mars rover" for lockheed. I need to find some more tech electives so hopefully I can find something that fits with the rest of them.

The E30 just got tint and new euro trim, but of course it is going to snow so I wont have good pictures for a while

I remember my days of mechatronics; good times with PLC's and circuit boards.

Very sweet; are you responsible for sub-system development?
Or providing the whole "kit-and-kaboodle" before May?

We need to provide the entire rover. The kicker is that it is a compact rover that has to climb stairs, while using low power. We had to drop the autonomous portion of the rover due to cost/time. It is a fun project too, trying to meet all of our goals of weight, speed, cost, and as space ready as possible, which means no using rubber for easy stair climbing

Thought I would share some updated pictures to show what the E30 currently looks like. I only got two decent ones from the meet.

Brad, glad you were able to come out.
Sorry I wasn't able to shake your hand and meet you in person.
We'll catch you on the next event.
