Question MK4 Beetle Speed-Activated Roof Spoiler Diagram

Anyone have details on how the roof mounted speed-activated spoiler is assembled?
I have a nasty grind on my wife's 2005 GLS and it needs some rebuild TLC.

just start? do it both up and down or what....it is made to make noise so you can hear it when it goes down....if that is what you hear it is normal

Both, up and down.
And now it's becoming so bad, that the spolier tries to close, and it stops and stays open...
Then putting on the "Spoiler Inactive" warning light on the instrument cluster.

I would like to find directions / exploded view on tearing it apart to inspect, clean, and replace needed parts.

Nick, do you know of any local junkyards with Beetles in them?
I need to find the spoiler gear motor and not willing to spend the high-dollar from the dealer.
